Chapter 23 - Chapter 23: The New Game Plus (The Reconstruction Era)

Part I: The Ghost in the Machine

It had been six months since the Kamino Deletion. The world was rebuilding. Jaku City was being reconstructed not by heavy machinery, but by a new generation of "Architect Heroes" using the stable, post-patch evolution of their Quirks.

Kenji Mizunashi sat in the UA library, staring at a blank notebook. His silver hair had never quite faded back to black; it remained a pale, shimmering chrome. While his "Focus HUD" was officially uninstalled, he still felt the Residual Data. He could see the "Collision Boxes" of the bookshelves and the "Refresh Rate" of the sunlight hitting the floor.

"Mizunashi-kun," Midoriya said, sitting across from him. Izuku's own power had stabilized into a rhythmic, flowing energy he called Full Cowl: Version 2.0. "The Commission wants you to join the 'Global Security Patch' team. They say there are still 'Dark Clusters' of All For One's energy in the deep web."

Kenji looked up. "It's not just energy, Izuku. It's Orphaned Code. When I deleted the Master Account, I left behind millions of 'Sub-Folders.' Tiny fragments of quirks that have no 'User.' They're manifesting as 'Digital Cryptids' in the city's infrastructure."

Part II: The First "Patch" Mission

A siren blared through the campus, but it wasn't the standard alarm. It was a high-frequency digital scream.

"Target sighted in the Central Business District," a voice crackled over the new "Neural-Link" comms. "It's a Category 4 Glitch-Wraith."

Kenji stood up. He didn't have his menus anymore, but he had Muscle Memory. He reached into the air, and for a split second, the air pixelated. He pulled out a staff that looked like it was made of woven glass—the Staff of the Glitch-Walker.

"Bakugo! Todoroki!" Kenji called out as they met in the courtyard. "We have a 'Memory Leak' in Sector 7. This is the First Expansion Pack mission. You ready?"

"Stop calling real life a game, nerd!" Bakugo yelled, though he was already wearing a new, high-tech suit designed to channel his "Optimized" explosions. "But if there's something to blast, I'm in."

Part III: The Glitch-Wraith of Musutafu

They arrived at the city center to find a skyscraper literally "Flickering." It was shifting between its current state and its pre-war, destroyed state. A massive, amorphous shape made of black-and-violet "Static" was clawing at the building's foundations.

[DETECTION: RESIDUAL ALL FOR ONE DATA]

[THREAT: CORRUPTED MEMORY]

"It's a manifestation of the city's collective trauma," Kenji realized, his eyes glowing with that familiar neon cyan. "It's trying to 'Roll Back' the city to the war-state. We need to Commit the Changes."

Kenji launched himself into the air. He didn't use a "Double Jump"; he used Transference, projecting his physical weight onto the air molecules themselves.

"Shoto! Surround the base with Stable Ice! We need to 'Lock the Frames'!"

"Bakugo! Hit the core with a Precision-Burst! Disrupt its 'Refresh Rate'!"

Part IV: The Final Fantasy - Rebirth

As the team distracted the Wraith, Kenji landed on its "Head." He didn't strike it. He sat in a meditative pose, closing his eyes.

He entered the Deep-Dive one last time. But he wasn't looking for a game. He was looking for the World's Heart.

He found the "Source Code" of the building, the memories of the people who worked there, and the hope of the people who rebuilt it. He merged those "Positive Assets" into a single, overwhelming wave of Holy Magic (Final Fantasy VII logic).

"LIFE-STREAM... REGENESIS!"

The white light didn't destroy the Wraith; it Integrated it. The black static turned into golden light, and the building stopped flickering. The skyscraper became more solid, more beautiful than before—a "Remastered" version of itself.

Part V: The New Frontier

The mission was a success. The "Glitch-Wraith" was gone, and the city's data was stable.

As the sun set over the "New Musutafu," Kenji stood on the roof of the skyscraper. He looked at his hand. A small, blue holographic prompt appeared.

[NEW QUEST: THE MULTIVERSE GATEWAY]

[OBJECTIVE: EXPLORE THE OTHER 'SERVERS']

Kenji's eyes widened. "Other servers? You mean... this world isn't the only one with a 'Source Code'?"

"Mizunashi?" Todoroki asked, walking up behind him. "What is it?"

Kenji looked at his friends, then at the sky. He realized that the "Post-Game" wasn't just about cleaning up the old world. It was about Cross-Platform Play.

"Boys," Kenji said, a grin spreading across his face. "I think we just unlocked the Isekai Expansion."

Kenji Mizunashi: Post-Game Status

| Attribute | Status | Next Goal |

|---|---|---|

| New Class | World-Coder | Stabilize the "Glitch-Zones" of Japan. |

| Active Skill | Chrono-Sync | Fixing the timeline's "Visual Errors." |

| Hidden Stat | Dimensional Awareness | Detecting "Signals" from other Game-Worlds. |

The War was over, but the Adventure was just getting started. There were more worlds to save, more "Games" to master, and a whole Multiverse of "Source Code" to explore.
