Chapter 20 - Chapter 20

After dinner, we retreated back to our room. Elyra looked ready to collapse on the bed, but she caught herself when she saw its state and remembered the cloud of dust that had emerged from the innocuous looking sheets earlier today.

Grimacing, she summoned her angelic magic and cleansed them thoroughly, an action that exhausted her further. This time, however, she could collapse without fearing some sort of unknown pathogen infecting her—another thing I taught the girls using my oh-so-extensive modern world knowledge. It had made them rather jumpy the first few hours, but not being able to actually see the microbes helped them forget, for a while at least.

I know they couldn't look at dirty things in quite the same way, however.

"Mm," Elyra moaned, adjusting herself on the bed. "It's soft…"

Meanwhile, Vespera was quite engrossed with her magic. She was playing with her shadow claws, trying to make them lengthen and shorten on command, but was still having trouble with them. She sat by the window, looking out into the city whenever she was too frustrated to keep going, thinking about this and that.

Elyra made eye contact with me. Her wings twitched for a moment, before she sprawled them on the bed so that they took up all the possible space. Then, she patted their glassy yet soft material with her hand, looking at me with pleading eyes.

I could feel the yearning desire for physical touch through the bond. It was almost overpowering.

When I moved to joined her, careful not to hurt her fragile wings, she simply pulled me down.

"Do not worry," she whispered, looking at Vespera as if to see if the demon had noticed her. "My wings are quite tough."

She looked at the demon again, then relaxed. Vespera was still looking out the window and playing with her magic. She was almost deliberately ignoring us, both in the physical world and through the bond. There was no way Elyra didn't know this, but the fact that Vespera was giving her space helped her relax.

I felt her wing move beneath me, curling up and literally scooping me closer to Elyra's body until we were lying against each other, staring at the ceiling. She rolled to the side, caressing my face and playing with my hair.

"I know what you and Vespera did the other night," she whispered in my ear. Her breath was warm and almost ticklish.

I blinked, not knowing what to say. I could feel her vulnerability, the way her heart thumped in her chest. To her, saying this simple sentence was like baring herself naked before me.

Vespera got up, and the action made Elyra tense and jerk away from me. The demon suppressed a smile, affection flowing through the bond, before she strode to the door.

"I need some fresh air," she announced. "I feel like I'm close to a breakthrough, but I need to unwind first. I'll leave you two lovebirds to it."

Then she was out, leaving Elyra and I alone on the bed. The little angel shifted, unsure, initiating a movement and then quitting halfway through, not knowing what to do. Seeing this, I decided to risk it and put my hand around her head with my arm under her neck, acting like a pillow.

She stiffened and then relaxed onto me, putting some gentle pressure on my forearm.

"Hey. You can let go," I said. "Let all the tension simply wash away. You're safe." My voice made her shiver for a moment. With my other hand, I pushed her head down gently on my arm. "Don't be afraid to your weight on me. You won't hurt me, don't worry."

It took her a moment longer before she finally allowed herself to put the full weight of her head on my arm. Once she was done, it was as if all the tension suddenly melted away from her body, and she sighed.

"It feels good," she said shyly.

I rolled to the side, looking at her while she did her best to stare at the ceiling and pretend I wasn't centimeters away from her face. With a gentle touch, I brushed aside some of her hair, shoulder length auburn locks which I tucked behind her ear.

I let the silence stretch for a moment or two, but not too long. She kept glancing at me from the corner of her eyes, looking away before her gaze could meet mine.

"You're cute when you are all flustered like this," I said softly.

She blushed. "I am?" chuckling, she looked to the other side, out the window. "And here I thought I was making this awkward."

"Not at all," I said. I reached forward with my free hand, caressing her hair and trying to brush my fingers against her face almost on accident. "I like this side of you. It feels genuine, and the fact that you hide it all the time makes it even more precious. I'm blessed to be the one you choose to show it to."

I felt her exhale, tensing up again before she forced herself to turn back towards me. She only succeeded in looking at the wooden beams of the ceiling before her willpower gave up, though.

"Thanks," she said, her voice so low I almost couldn't hear it.

"Is the ceiling that interesting?" I teased her.

She grimaced, looking away again. "Maybe…"

"Alright," I said, plopping down and relaxing. "Let's count the beams. Let's see… one, two, three. Ah, that one is moldy. Yuck."

She giggled. "Silly."

That's when I decided to act. Using the arm I had under her neck, I nudged her towards me, making her face me. She yelped, but then relaxed, even though her eyes were wandering everywhere, looking at every corner of the room behind me in order not to land on my face.

"You are the silly one," I told her. "Is my face that ugly? Maybe I could buy myself a face mask, how about that?"

The corners of her mouth quirked up. "No, Sol. You are not ugly. In fact, I feel like…"

I waited for her to continue, but she clammed up. "What do you feel?" I asked her, hoping she would continue.

I knew she was going to, because her eyes finally landed on me. "I don't want to ruin what you have with Vespera…"

Ah, there it was. I needed to be very careful now, because if I said the wrong thing I could end up hurting her and I would never forgive myself.

"Is that what you fear?" I asked her. "That you would ruin things?"

She blinked, and tiny tears flew down her cheeks as she nodded vigorously. "I know I will! You and her have… chemistry, while I am here, all awkward."

"I find your awkwardness very endearing," I told her. "And it's not like I'm any better."

She laughed. "You are way better."

"That's only because I promised to myself that I'd live this life to the fullest."

She took a deep, shaky breath. She was on the verge of finally breaking through, but then she retreated again. "What about Vespera?"

"What about her?" I asked.

"Won't she be jealous?"

I chuckled, running a finger through her hair. She flinched, almost pulling away, but when my hand stopped in midair she slowly relaxed and leaned back in. Like a cat, slowly beginning to trust a hand that wanted to pet her.

"You really think she'll get jealous? You do know she left on purpose, right?" I did not say that it had been to give her space, because a shared burden was easy to carry, even if it was a small lie.

After a couple strokes, I pushed deeper and down, reaching her cheek. Her skin was soft.

"We share a bond, remember? Try to feel her feelings." I said.

"She did?" she said, then her face melted. "Oh, she did. She's… encouraging me."

"There you have it. Just like you two always say. We are a team, all three of us."

"I… don't know…"

"Hey," I said, cupping her face. "Trust me, okay? Don't think about Vespera or anything right now. Tell me, what do you want?"

"What do I want?" she repeated, the question seemingly taking her off guard. She mumbled something, and I asked her to repeat. Blushing furiously, she tried again, and this time her words were at least barely audible. "I want you to kiss me."

I leaned in, hovering in front of her face. Her eyes were closed shut, her whole face scrunched up.

"You owe me nothing, Elyra. Do you understand? You don't have to do this if you don't want to."

"I know. I do want it, Sol."

"Right now?" I asked.

She nodded so fast her hair went everywhere.

"Then open your eyes," I said. "Look at me while I kiss you."

Cupping her cheek, I stroked her skin as she slowly complied, and did not stop until she was looking at me. Better. She was still tense, but it was much better.

Slowly, I crossed the distance between us, and our lips touched. She froze for a moment, but then a sudden energy filled her and she sought my lips with almost hungry need. She kissed me again and again, sloppily, her inexperience showing. I wasn't much better, of course, but neither of us cared about when our teeth touched or our lips didn't align perfectly.

She was shy about it at first, but before long we were laughing together about it, giggling at each other's mistakes and awkwardness.

Then, without warning, I pried open her mouth with my tongue. Again, she froze, not knowing what to do. This time, she let me take the lead, allowing me to explore her. When we parted, there was a thin trail of saliva between us.

"You're my little angel, Elyra."

She melted into my arms, but still kept her hands to her sides as if she didn't know what to do with them. I caressed her face.

I grabbed them and placed them on my chest, lifting my shirt so that she was touching the bare skin. "You are mine, and I can be yours, if you want me to. Do you want me to?"

She panted, her fingers twitching. Then she leaned in to kiss me again, hungry for more. "Fuck yes I do."

Chapter 20.5

Another extra chapter for my Gold Tier patrons! We progress the scene from where we left off. Longer than average, but soft and slow (and kinky) because Elyra is a precious angel. Totally optional reading, of course ;)

This time, it was Elyra who plunged her tongue into my mouth. Unlike Vespera's, her tongue was normal sized, but this didn't stop her from trying to reach the deepest spots she could. She twirled it around, seeking my tongue as well, the two organs dancing and rubbing against each other, our salivas mixing.

When we parted again, we were both flushed red with excitement. Her hands had wandered all over me, touching my chest, my abs and my back. The action had messed up the shirt in all sorts of ways so with a grunt, I pushed Elyra away. She pouted for a moment, but then saw what I wanted to do and her eyes widened.

I took off my shirt in front of her, and her eyes crawled all over my body.

"I missed seeing you like this," she panted. "Hells, you are so hot."

My eyebrows went up when she jumped at me. Daring, wasn't she? I welcomed her with open arms, and the wet noises of our sloppy kisses filled the room. My hands roamed all over her back, under her shirt, exploring and touching her perfectly soft yet firm skin.

I used my nails to gently scratch her back again, making her moan in pleasure.

"You like that, don't you?"

"Mmyes," she moaned, pulling me into another kiss.

Then she moved away, and removed her own shirt with a swift motion. I stared at her, surprised at her boldness as her petite body was laid bare before me. My eyes went up, and I noticed the bindings holding her chest tight and compressed, hiding it from view.

"Your hands were getting stuck in the fabric," she stated matter of factly. Then, noticing my eyes on her bindings added: "they are in case I need to fight. My breasts are a bit unwieldy."

She pulled to her, grabbed my hands and placed them on her back, before kissing me again. I happily complied, scratching her back.

"Mm, rub me harder. Harder. Use your nails. I want to feel you. Around the wings, please."

I did. I traced my fingers around the base of her wings, and she arched her back and contorted in my hands, her mouth never leaving mine.

"Mm, I needed this. More!"
