After the command from the King, sir Gerald took his men and went to the Lower Grounds. While he travels with his beautiful white horse with his shining armor the people of lower grounds bowed their heads when he passes by the path children were running behind his horse happily. During this he saw a man who is young and carries a bunch of arrows in his back, so he decided to question him "Hey there stop what is your name you scum?" he replied "Alex and I'm not a scum sir". Its usual for the people of Higher Grounds to humiliate the people of Lower grounds so the convo continued anyway, Gerald pointed the sword at his face and asked him to bring every young man around the age of 20 before him in a couple of minutes. Alex said "I'm afraid I can't sir because I don't remember working under your shadows so ask someone". This made him angry enough to get down the horse and his mind and body is ready to kill him right there, they were in the Lower Grounds town's center so people gathered. Alex took his bow and an arrow and warned him to sheath his sword but Gerald refused so the tense gathered. Alex took a single arrow and said "sir I think this single arrow is more than enough to make you and your men to run far away". Gerald laughed and said "You are young and going to die in this age I'm sorry I can't help", they both were circling each other anytime the fight may begin and Alex did not have a sword too. When Gerald was ready to take a blow, Alex shoot his arrow towards a bee hive right behind the Gerald, he noticed it already so he came up with this plan. The bees came to hunt everyone and Gerald no other way ran with his friends for a safe place. This humiliation was new to the Gerald in his entire life thinking of it he walks the hall ways of the castle and bow down to the King and says that "My lord I'm sorry I was not able to find the one you are searching for even after searching across the kingdom and other kingdoms for about 6 days no match of person as you say".
King's mind fell into paranoid thinking about the next rightful Tren. After the permission to leave, Gerald's mind was filled with thoughts like "Why? this king is so stubborn on his bastard son when he has twins and how dare of him saying I really loved some low life filthy women who is better than my sister and how dare of him planning to give the throne to someone I never really searched for him".
Meanwhile here in Lower grounds Alan yells at Alex "Don't you want to become a knight? you fool", Alex replied "I never really liked the idea to be a Knight my dream is to become a Archer I like bows than sword". Then they went to their usual practice again.
King saw his face next morning in the mirror he looked like half beast and half human because the mask grown to half of his face only his mouth was free, his left eye was completely went to numb. So now he should take some decision so he called his officials.
He gave his command standing in the long hall way cover in red curtains flowing in every pillar with the symbol of a blazing sword in yellow, His throne and seat was high from the ground and the officials sat in rows and columns ,the path where the King walks and takes his seat is cover with black carpet. Walking which he sat in the throne with half of his face showing to the crowed the hall was filled with people and officials everyone screamed long live king, when the king raised his hand the crowd went silent and the 12 powerful knights of the Kingdom holding the flag of Tren walked sequencially and the sword is brought by the knight to the king, Yes its sheath so it safe and the sword was carried in by the wolf's head biting the sword's handle and the knights handed over the sword to the King. He took the sword, removed the sheath and the blazing sword nearly blinded the people.
Holding the sword upwards and stood from his seat he screamed "Let the sword lead us !" and after which he gave the command for next Tren selection.
"I the king of the Tren and worthy wielder give you all the command that this time there will be a competition for a man to become the King and a worthy wielder as usual but there is a change this time I command the people of the Lower Grounds can also participate in the competition. This is my last wish and command and the competition takes place day after the full moon that is day after tomorrow."
This command shattered the hall the silence filled the hall, Gerald in the corner of the hall, in his mind he thought if his sister and her twins he made up his mind towards the command and in his mind saying "No other way I need to do what I need to !"
