Turles watched the System vanish at light speed, feeling a bit speechless.
Seriously? There's a 'System Realm' now? Technician No. 28? Tsk... the System sure knows how to live it up.
A week passed in the blink of an eye. Turles finished his preparations to head into the GT Timeline. This time, however, the present-day Bulma stayed behind. Joining him instead was Future Bulma.
Lately, Future Bulma had developed a bit of a battle-maniac streak. The moment she heard this timeline possessed powerful enemies, she practically demanded to go along.
Looking at the fighting spirit burning in her eyes, Turles could only sigh. Is the Saiyan bloodline really that influential? Why hasn't it affected me like this?
In the end, he agreed. He didn't have much of a choice—Future Bulma was incredibly persuasive when she wanted to be. Thinking back to the "uniform temptation" she'd pulled last night, Turles still felt a little "excited."
Bulla had tried to make a scene and follow them, but she was instantly silenced by the present-day Bulma. It was a case of pure bloodline suppression—truly a terrifying thing.
After saying goodbye to his family, Turles took Future Bulma's hand and initiated the travel. A blinding white light erupted, and their silhouettes vanished from the main timeline.
When they reappeared, the atmosphere was completely different.
"Hmm? Have we arrived at this specific point in time?"
The Earth was thick with the scent of war. Powerful Ki signatures were scattered across the globe, and the bustling cities were once again being baptized by the fires of conflict.
"Hahahaha! Come on, boys! Let's help Lord Frieza conquer this planet once and for all!!"
A swarm of low-level soldiers in Frieza Force battle armor rampaged like locusts, destroying everything in their path.
"Hehehe... Damned Son Goku and Vegeta. This time, it's your funeral!"
An old man with white hair watched the city below with eyes full of pure, concentrated hatred. This was Dr. Gero.
"Hahaha! Don't worry, Dr. Gero," the blue-skinned Dr. Myuu chuckled beside him. "Our creation is perfect. It's the strongest there is. Killing Son Goku will be as easy as taking candy from a baby."
"17, find them and kill them," Gero barked at the young man standing nearby. "And remember: make it slow. I want them to suffer before they die!"
"No problem, Doctor," Android 17 replied calmly.
Elsewhere, Future Bulma looked out at the burning city. She casually disintegrated a rampaging grunt and turned to Turles. "Husband, is this timeline always this messy? We just got here and the Earth is already under invasion? Wait... is that Trunks?"
She sensed a familiar Ki and frowned. "But... is the Trunks of this world really this weak?"
She scanned his power level and felt a flash of disappointment. In her eyes, this Trunks was practically a civilian.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Reanimated villains were firing energy cannons everywhere, leveling city blocks. High in the air, a young man with purple hair gritted his teeth in fury. "Dammit! Where did all these people come from?!"
As he dealt with a group of soldiers, Trunks froze. A familiar figure had suddenly appeared in front of him.
The woman's palms glowed with power. With every Ki Blast she fired, she sent another villain flying back to the Other World with pinpoint accuracy.
"Mom?! No... wait, who are you?"
Future Bulma turned around, her brow furrowed as she looked at him. "Trunks? Can't you even recognize me? More importantly... have you been skipping your training? Why are you so weak?"
Trunks: "???"
He felt like he was standing in front of his father, Vegeta. He knew he hadn't focused much on training since becoming an adult, but he wasn't that weak, was he? Why was this woman talking to him like he was a toddler?
"Bulma, the Trunks of this timeline is indeed quite weak," Turles said as he floated over. "Kakarot and the others protected the Earth a bit too well. They didn't have much motivation to keep pushing their limits."
Trunks blinked in confusion. "Uncle Goku? And... 'this timeline'? You guys aren't from around here, are you?"
Trunks was highly intelligent; he grasped the situation almost immediately. Wait, so this really is my mother? But why is she so strong? This isn't right.
My mom is supposed to be a 'refined' scientist. Why does she look like a total battle maniac?
"I'm not Kakarot. You can call me Turles," Turles clarified. "And you're right. Bulma and I are from a different timeline."
"Son Goku, Bulma, and Trunks, is it?"
A cold voice suddenly rang out.
CLASH!
Future Bulma's fist collided with the fist of a mysterious newcomer. The sheer force of the impact shattered the glass of every skyscraper in the vicinity.
"You're Android 17?" Bulma asked, narrowing her eyes.
The man wore black clothes and a red headscarf. He looked at Bulma with genuine disbelief. "You're supposed to be an ordinary human. How are you this strong?"
"Whatever. It doesn't matter. My other self and I are the strongest. Let me put you out of your misery!"
He lunged at Bulma. Instead of backing away, Bulma's lips curled into a smirk. Her eyes flashed with excitement as she met his charge head-on.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The shockwaves from their battle were immense. Trunks snapped out of his daze. "Wait... Aunt 18 said he went to be a park ranger. Why is he destroying the city?"
As he watched Bulma power up into a Super Saiyan, Trunks was even more dumbfounded. He stared at the battle between his "mother" and 17, unable to believe that a Bulma from another world could transform and fight like a high-level warrior.
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
Their silhouettes flickered across the sky. Every time they crossed paths, thunderous booms and massive shockwaves rippled through the air.
After several hundred exchanges, the GT 17 began to fall into a disadvantage. Bulma spotted a gap in his defense and hammered a fist into his side, sending him crashing through a skyscraper.
CRASH!!
The building collapsed instantly. Trunks stood by, his jaw hanging open. "So... so strong..."
Turles watched and nodded. 5.5 trillion against 5 trillion. As long as Bulma didn't get cocky, this 17 was no match for her.
Suddenly, a streak of light accompanied by a white whirlwind rocketed over from the distance.
It was Son Gohan. When he arrived and saw a Super Saiyan Bulma pummeling Android 17, he froze mid-air, his brain short-circuiting.
Wait. Has the world gone crazy? Since when was Aunt Bulma this powerful? Am I dreaming?
"Trunks! What's going on?! And... Dad? No... who are you?"
"I'm Turles. Bulma and I are from another timeline," Turles explained.
"Oh... I see. That makes sense," Gohan muttered. After all, he'd seen Future Trunks during the Cell Games. This was something he could accept... like hell he could!
Why is Aunt Bulma such a powerhouse?! What the hell happened in that other timeline?!
