A black-and-red energy sphere materialized in Cumber's hand, and he hurled it directly at the retreating Jiren.

"Oh no!" "Look out!"
The energy sphere struck Jiren dead-on, triggering a massive explosion in the sky that made the heavens and earth shudder. Even at a distance, Son Goku and the others instinctively raised their arms to shield themselves.
High above, Cumber looked down at the group. He didn't charge in; instead, he flashed a predatory grin. "Vegito! I'll see you in Universe 7!"
With that, Cumber vanished in a streak of white light.
As the smoke cleared, a battered and bloodied Jiren appeared. He wiped the blood from his lip and coughed. "Cough... Universe 7? Take me with you. I believe I can be of help."
Goku walked over and held out a Senzu Bean.
Jiren looked at it with confusion. "This is...?"
"It's a bean that restores your stamina and heals your wounds. You'll understand once you eat it."
Jiren blinked. Since when did beans become medical miracles? Still, he took it and swallowed. In an instant, his injuries vanished and his strength returned. Jiren stared at his hands, stunned.
"This... Universe 7 truly is a place of wonders."
Elsewhere, after leaving Universe 11, Cumber found himself locked in a fierce battle with a mechanically modified Cooler.
Having been humiliated by Cumber on the Prison Planet, Cooler's pride had been shattered. Fueled by a burning desire for revenge and the realization that his organic strength was insufficient, he had modified his body into a metal form—Meta-Cooler.
His appearance was an exact match for the metal warriors from The Return of Cooler, save for one detail: his right eye was no longer a regular eyeball, but a glowing red power core. It made him look even more sinister and grotesque.
"Tch. You're a real lunatic, turning yourself into a machine," Cumber remarked as he traded blows with Meta-Cooler.
"Heh. What of it? As long as I have power, as long as I can have my revenge, I don't care what I become," Cooler sneered.
Suddenly, Cooler flickered out of sight. A split second later, his fist was buried deep in Cumber's gut.

To everyone's surprise, the normally immovable Cumber coughed up bile, his body doubling over like a shrimp.
Cooler didn't let up. He launched a relentless assault, battering Cumber across the sky before catching him with a kick that sent him spiraling. Reappearing above his target, Cooler clasped his hands together and slammed Cumber toward the ground in a textbook meteor smash.

Cumber smashed into the earth, creating a massive humanoid crater with cracks spreading like a spiderweb. High in the air, Meta-Cooler laughed manically.
"Hahahaha! This is my true power! Cumber, you're nothing to me now!"
Seeing how easily he had suppressed Cumber, Cooler was ecstatic with the results of his modifications.

A roar erupted from the crater. A golden aura exploded outward, radiating an unparalleled sense of pressure.

Cumber had transformed into a Super Saiyan. Cooler merely smiled disdainfully. "It's useless. No matter how much power you gain, it won't matter. The combat chip in my eye has recorded all your battle data and techniques. Your every move has been deciphered. You cannot defeat me!"
Yet, in the very next heartbeat, Cumber appeared directly in front of Meta-Cooler.

Cumber's massive fist slammed into Meta-Cooler's midsection.

The terrifying force sent Meta-Cooler flying, and metallic fragments even sparked off his waist from the sheer impact.
"Curse you! How is this possible?!"
Meta-Cooler stared at Cumber in disbelief. This level of power completely exceeded his recorded data.

Cumber's overwhelming strength left Meta-Cooler with no room to breathe. Everything Cooler had done to Cumber moments ago, Cumber was now returning with interest.

Cumber lunged forward and delivered another beating. Meta-Cooler was broken again, and again he regenerated.
"In that case, let me step it up. I've finally finished acclimating to this body!" Cooler roared. "Haaa!"

A power so immense it made the entire planet tremble erupted from his frame. Meta-Cooler's appearance underwent a startling change. He now bore a striking resemblance to Frieza's Golden Form, shimmering with a brilliant luster, though the red data crystal still flickered in his eye.
"Heh heh heh. Let's call this Golden Meta-Cooler! Now, Cumber, let's start the next round!"
With the Golden Form active, Meta-Cooler's combat power skyrocketed, allowing him to suppress Cumber once again. But Cumber's Saiyan blood was singing, his strength constantly evolving through the heat of battle.
As the fight escalated, Golden Meta-Cooler began to panic. Dammit, what kind of monster is this Saiyan? Why won't he stay down?

Cooler punched Cumber away, swearing under his breath. His body was reaching its limit. The red crystal in his eye was flashing a warning—if he continued at this intensity, his physical frame would collapse.

Cooler raised a hand, instantly condensing a massive sphere of incinerating energy. Without hesitation, he hurled the Supernova at Cumber and immediately turned to flee.
Yes, he fled. Between his pride and his life, Cooler chose life. His body was red-lining; he couldn't keep this up. Since he couldn't crush Cumber in person, he would let Cumber and the planet turn into stardust together!
