Tempest was warm, but not overly so.
She could feel the warm light of the sun against her face. It felt like it was morning, but her internal clock was all out of whack; it could be the middle of the day for all she knew.
Slowly, she opened her eyes only to be greeted with Dron's face directly in front of her.
The sight of him so at peace and at rest made her happy. He was still here. She should've known better, and in fact she did. But there was still a very, very small part of her that worried he would be gone when she woke up. That he would take her virginity and leave her there used and broken to pieces.
It was a silly thought. Dron wasn't like that.
It was the first time in her life Tempest was absolutely sure she'd chosen the right man.
Slowly, reality started to settle in on her mind. All of her muscles were completely relaxed as if she'd just been through the best massage she'd ever taken. She moved her arms first just a little and then her legs.
