When two titans collided head-on, even the shockwaves alone were enough to whip up raging hurricanes—so what about the combatants themselves?
Juggernaut's sanity continued to erode.
First, he had been obstructed again and again by the White House's defenses. Then he was toyed with and buried by Peter. Just when he finally clawed his way back out, Peter intercepted him once more.
Setbacks piled upon setbacks.
And with each one, his fury surged higher.
At this moment, his strength was no longer merely comparable to the Hulk in a berserk state—it was beginning to surpass it.
As for Peter—
He had sacrificed the Statue of Liberty, a symbol that had gathered the hopes and aspirations of hundreds of millions over centuries. The sheer magnitude of that accumulated willpower was nothing short of awe-inspiring.
And the telekinesis born from that sacrifice…
…was terrifyingly powerful.
…
With a single punch, Peter felt no strain at all—on the contrary, he still had plenty of strength to spare.
He flipped midair, his superhuman agility allowing him to instantly reposition above Juggernaut, and then—
He brought his leg crashing down.
THUD!
Caught off guard, Juggernaut was slammed straight into the ground. The already shattered foundation of the White House suffered yet another devastating blow.
But Peter wasn't satisfied.
His telekinesis remained abundant—more than enough to sustain a relentless assault.
Dropping from the air, he closed the distance again.
This time, with terrifying force erupting from his body and telekinesis propelling him forward, he shot out like a missile—aiming directly for Juggernaut's massive head.
If there had been any sports fans watching, they would've shouted in excitement—
"Nice shot!"
But Juggernaut was no ordinary opponent.
In the Marvel Universe, he stood among the rare few who relied purely on overwhelming physical power—someone who had gone toe-to-toe with the Avengers and the X-Men more than once.
And behind him stood a being even more fearsome than Dormammu—
The demon god, Cyttorak.
He was not someone who could be defeated so easily.
A crimson gleam flashed across his eyes.
The roar of wind filled his ears as Peter's descending kick—like a falling meteor—was about to strike his skull.
And then—
A hand shot up.
Blocking it.
"Heh… heh… heh…"
A strange, sinister grin spread across Juggernaut's face.
Power surged through his body—power capable of crushing steel, of shattering entire hills with brute force alone.
His hand clamped down tightly around Peter's leg.
And then—
He leapt.
Peter's body swung with the motion, caught in Juggernaut's grasp like a ragdoll in the hands of a violent child—
Before being slammed viciously into the ground.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Peter became the drumstick.
The earth became the drum.
Juggernaut, lost in his rampage, swung again and again—unleashing his rage and strength without restraint, further annihilating the already ruined battlefield.
Yet—
Half of Peter's telekinesis was devoted to protecting his body.
He wasn't injured.
Not even slightly.
In fact—
He remained perfectly calm.
Thinking.
Analyzing.
BANG!
With a final explosive throw, Juggernaut hurled Peter away. The sheer force broke the sound barrier, sending him rocketing into the distance.
But in the very next moment—
Peter returned.
Completely unharmed.
And this time, even faster.
He slammed straight toward Juggernaut's face.
"AAARGH!!"
A horrifying scream erupted.
Peter's arms plunged deep into Juggernaut's eyes.
Blood burst outward.
Crimson energy exploded violently from his body.
The unbearable pain shattered what little sanity Juggernaut had left—
And in exchange—
His power reached its absolute peak.
A tidal wave of red energy surged outward, swallowing everything in its path.
The scarlet force expanded like a crushing tide, reducing everything it touched to dust.
Everything—
Except Peter.
…
High above the battlefield, a uniquely designed aircraft hovered silently, observing the chaos below.
"Our intel never mentioned that this big guy could use energy attacks."
Nick Fury turned to the agent beside him, his expression grim.
Juggernaut had always been a priority target for S.H.I.E.L.D..
In his normal state, his strength rivaled the Hulk—and more importantly, that state was controllable. Unlike the Hulk's unpredictability, Juggernaut had moments of clarity, moments where he retained reason.
S.H.I.E.L.D. had even captured him before—detaining him in a specially designed prison and severing his connection to the Crimson Cosmos, cutting him off from Cyttorak's power.
So Juggernaut was no stranger to them.
But tonight—
The real unknown was Peter.
This mysterious figure who had appeared out of nowhere… and was now fighting Juggernaut to a standstill—
Even gaining the upper hand.
"Sir," the agent reported, "based on our data, Juggernaut's power correlates with his mental state—his anger, his loss of control. Perhaps… we've simply never pushed him this far before."
Nick Fury shook his head.
So the only reason Juggernaut hadn't reached this level before… was because they weren't strong enough to force him there?
No matter how you framed it—
That was not good news.
Even if it was the truth.
"A special team needs to be formed…"
Fury muttered to himself.
He had long been planning to assemble a unit designed to handle threats beyond conventional military capability.
Now—
That plan needed to be accelerated.
"Sir, we've confirmed the President and all key personnel have evacuated. They're already aboard Air Force One. Should we notify the military to begin the attack?"
"Give the order."
Fury's gaze returned briefly to the chaotic battlefield below before he looked away.
"The White House is already rubble. There's nothing left worth protecting."
As he spoke, he began coordinating with all forces stationed nearby.
The White House had been invaded.
The President had been forced to flee.
This was no small matter.
And now—
It was time to take it back.
