While Sylthar and his wife Elyndra, took the Venerable Aethelgard to the infirmary, a chill ran through the room. The Empress spoke with seriousness in her voice: 'Morvadeus!? The god of DEATH?! The bringer of darkness!!' bringing a deathly silence in the room. Even the faint sound of breathing was audible: everyone was lost in deep thought.
Ymiris thought to himself. The thousand years of peace of our Empire will cease to exist, as of today. Sigh… I should prepare my kingdom, we may face unknown dangers and enemies
The words of Sylph made everyone's thoughts heavy, especially Nitya's. She was analysing the situation calmly. His name is stirring uneasiness in my core; a name so divine that makes everyone restless, I am curious of what will this child grow up to be
The Dryad Queen, Lahari Nitya, with voice flowing as the waves of the ocean, broke the silence and said, 'We shouldn't panic yet, pay attention to the words of Aethelgard! He is the salvation of the Gods, and the Asura of the Outsiders.'
She paused then continued seriously, 'He is a conqueror, meaning bloodshed will follow his path, and he will reach the highest peaks, he is destined to be a dragon among mortals.'
She said to the Empress 'I suggest, we carefully teach him, guide him, and show him the peace and life of our Life Empire. If he's uncontrolled he could be the end of the Mortal World, Aethelgard's foretelling was never wrong till now,' she finished her speech calmly.
Castiel interrupted Sylpha's deep thoughts and suggested, 'I will make sure to teach him how to fight, show how a man of our Empire should act, and the way of the Gods,' he said energetically.
The GIant exclaimed 'He will know the power of the physical body! And the power of Giants, he will stand tall and strong, I will make sure to bring him in my kingdom and teach him the way of the Giants, ha-ha-ha' he boomed shaking the room, and making dust fly everywhere.
Thalgor also spoke 'I will show him the techniques of our kingdom, let him learn the way of forging. It also will be a good experience for him to learn discipline and hard work,' he stated.
The Empress smiled gently and announced 'Thank you all for your consideration, let's work together to escape the shackles of the Mortal World and guide this child'.
She then stated, 'This concludes, today's events. I want you all to prepare. Keep the information from the public, I will adopt this child to protect his secret, we will say he is born from the Life Tree. No one should know his origin, only us,' explained Sylpha.
Nitya sighed, 'You are kind as always.' she said, her voice gentle as the unmoving water, to the Empress.
Meanwhile in the infirmary room Sylthar and Elyndra laid the venerable in the bed.
Sylthar then began to concoct a medicine pill for him. He took out his cauldron, forged by the dwarves. It looked like an magical artifact, his wife carved divine runes especially fitting for his alchemy. It stood on three stable legs, the whole artifact made from Aethel - Stalthe main ore of the Life Empire, one of the strongest. The runes were glowing, illuminating the whole room with halo of light.
Elyndra stayed silent, allowing Sylthar to concentrate on his alchemy. He opened the lid to concoct a Mind-Sea Mending Medicine called Kryosiphos.
First, he took out the two herbs: the Halosiphos and the Kryo-Lotos.
Halosiphos absorbs moonlight during the night, causing its core to glow with energy. Its petals are like crystals, glowing and radiating with calmness. Even breathing near it can help one to cultivate peacefully.
The Kryo-Lotos is a flower found in the coldest depths of the world; it is a pure frost flower, its petals transformed by absorbing cold energy.
Taking the Halosiphos, he used his Shadows to cut it into separate parts, cleanly separating its petals from the core. The separated petals were put into a little container, the core itself was thrown into the cauldron.
To combine the cooling effect of the Kryo-Lotos with the Halosiphos mind calming effect, he carefully put the flower near heat and its petals fell off cleanly after a while.
Now that everything was prepared, Sylthar put a fire under the cauldron, its rune lighting up helping the cauldron to heat more efficiently.
He heated the Cauldron evenly with his Alchemy Flame, the core inside started to melt and looked like molten energy inside.
Now the crucial stage of this medicine was to open the lid of the cauldron. The immense pressure on his soul made him sweat, droplets falling from his forehead, his Mind Sea: the Veda-Sentientia, poured invisible soul riples outside, acting like a barrier around the cauldron, holding the energy inside. The process was very taxing mentally for him, he was on the verge of fainting.
He took the Ice Petals of the Kryo-Lotos and pushed through the barrier, a little energy leak was inevitable, but his swift movements made it so that a miniscule amount leaked only.
He hastily put the lid back, called his mental energy back, and made his shadow hold the cauldron down as it began to shake.
The fire was brimming as he fed it with his soul more, runes were glowing and the cauldron slowly turned yellow from the heat inside.
The petals slowly started to melt from the heat energy of the moonlight. As it melted, drops of Kryo Water fell on the bottom of the cauldron; where the moonlight core was laying. The falling drops exploded upon touching the molten pool of moonlight energy, sending huge cloud like essence everywhere inside the cauldron.
These explosions continued for 2 days, at the end of it, Sylthar was already at his limit ,but he endured for the sake of the Venerable.
After the explosions halted and the cauldron calmed down, he heated the Halosiphos petals and formed it into a small glass like, round ball. On top of the cauldron was a valve like very tiny tube which was already hot, pushing the little ball into the valve, made way to the pressured essence, the cloud like smoke instantly rushed inside. After the ball was filled he sealed its hole, then he carefully removed it fully.
Around the transparent purple ball, dark purple veins streaked across, pulsing like it was alive. The settled energy cloud inside make it look like it was the moon itself, mesmerizing Elyndra herself with the beauty of it.
The Kryosiphos was the reward of his efforts, this pill is the fruit of his year of meticulous research.
Only a rank 5: Eclipsis Absorptor Alchemist capable of refining it.
Its harsh requirements are so difficult, not many in the mortal world would dare to refine it, even if they know its recipe. Only a Law Master could withstand the potency of these plants.
A year passed as the summer faded into winter, and winter gave way eventually to the blooming flowers of spring. In the beautiful garden of the Life Tree the calm atmosphere was intercepted ,the laughter of the fairies filled the garden as they flew around a little boy.
He was trying to get on his legs, he was dressed with beautiful little silver like petal clothe, fitting for a boy like him. His little cute round face was smiling as he was enjoying his time with the fairies.
He was trying to walk towards the Life Tree, specially towards an unknown person there.
On the bottom of the tree, a person was leaning against the bark, her slender eyebrows observed Morvadeus.
She had an alluring, oval face with lips like red roses; her dress was woven from azure blue tree petals by the fairies themselves.
Her narrow shoulders were showing as the hem of her dress rested, just above her knees, showing her alluring legs off. She had no shoes on, her feet were resting in a pond of water.
Watching his steps, the boy gently headed towards her, suddenly he slipped, panicking. The fairies, lacking the strength to hold him, could only watch him falling.
Before he could fall down, a root protruded from the ground, giving support from below letting him regain his balance.
The woman's smile faded into a sigh as she looked towards a certain point. A blinding light appeared out of nowhere, capturing the attention of everyone.
As the light began fading, a feminine silhouette took shape, wearing a black robe etched with runes, slit up to the knees presenting her divine beauty.
Long white hair cascaded down her back and a pair of piercing fierce silver eyes directed her gaze towards the stranger by the pond, the aura of a Law Master surging threateningly.
Suddenly, Sylpha retracted her aura as she spotted Morvadeus beside the stranger.
'You are?!' she asked her with her eyebrows raised, questioningly.
'I forgot you haven't seen me in this form until now, Sylpha... he-he' giggled the Life Tree, not taking her show just now seriously.
'Take good care of this child from now on, I entrust his fate to you. I gifted him a little present, take him to Elyndra; she will find the use of my present.'
Getting on her feet, wind blew through her strands of hair, she directed her gaze towards the endlessly beautiful sky, melancholy apparent in her eyes.
'I can't remain much longer here, I need to protect the Mortal World; look after Morvadeus, that child is our only hope.'
'Go, Morvadeus, I entrust you to Sylpha, from now on you need to listen to her okay?' She patted his head.
Morvadeus obeying her instructions went towards Sylpha, a familiar aura to him, his little hands held the hem of Sylpha's robe.
As the Life Tree figure faded slowly back into the tree she noted with a hint of advice:
'Time is running out Sylpha, the peace of our Empire won't last forever. You were blinded by the comfort of peace, the runes won't hold the beasts much longer.' Surprise appeared in the gaze of Sylpha, who looked at her respectfully.
'Enemies are lurking in the shadows, destruction and chaos will follow the footsteps of this child. To survive in the new era, we need to live through the obliteration first.
'You won't be able to communicate with me for a while, until we meet again, my Empress…tee-hee' she laughed melodiously, sticking her tongue out playfully towards Sylpha as she disappeared.
