Among the Heroes—
Shota Aizawa casually mentioned that he had glanced at the newspaper after class. The headline reported that Shina Etsuha had recently defeated the sludge villain once again.
"…What an enviable kind of talent," Aizawa muttered, rubbing his temple. "That sludge could rank among notable villains. I didn't expect it to be taken down by that kid again. And judging by the report, his Quirk has grown even stronger. He didn't hesitate at all this time."
A faint headache crept in.
If someone that powerful enrolled at U.A., teaching him wouldn't be easy. In fact, it might be a problem.
And in just a few days, the special "activity" for recommended students would begin. Figuring out how to train this group effectively in such a short time—that was his real concern.
"With the others, it's manageable," Aizawa continued to himself. "Even if their Quirks are strong, they all have flaws. But Shina… he's different. If I train him the same way as the others, he might not even take it seriously."
He let out a quiet sigh.
"Why do I have to deal with someone this troublesome? Did the principal think I've been slacking off and decided to hand me a real challenge?"
Wherever Shina Etsuha went, trouble seemed to follow.
"Yo, Mr. Aizawa!"
A loud voice broke his thoughts.
It was Present Mic, fresh out of his English class.
"You've been pretty relaxed lately, huh? I heard you've been bringing a sleeping bag into class!"
"Because of that, I ended up being assigned Shina as my student. Give me a break…" Aizawa replied dryly.
"Forget that—I've got more interesting news," Present Mic said, his voice booming with excitement. "All Might's here!"
"What?" Aizawa frowned. "Didn't he say he had business in Shizuoka? Why would he come to U.A. now?"
Before he could finish—
a towering, muscular figure stepped through the doorway.
"Long time no see, Aizawa."
It was All Might.
"…You're still the same," Aizawa said flatly. He had never been fond of loud, flashy types like All Might, so his tone remained indifferent.
Present Mic grinned, sensing the shift in atmosphere. "Well, I've got other things to do—catch you later!" With that, he quickly made his exit.
Silence settled between the two.
After a moment, Aizawa spoke.
"So? What brings you here? It's not like you to show up at U.A. this early."
"…Yeah." All Might nodded slowly. He paused, took a breath, and then said:
"I may have found someone… who can treat my injuries."
"…Oh."
Aizawa nodded absentmindedly—
then froze.
His eyes widened in shock.
"…What did you just say?!"
This was no small matter.
He knew exactly how severe All Might's condition was. His injuries weren't ordinary wounds—they were catastrophic. Entire organs had been removed, and even though his body had regenerated to some extent, what remained was far from normal.
It wasn't accurate to even call them "injuries" anymore.
They were permanent damage.
A crippled body.
Even Recovery Girl's Quirk wouldn't be able to fix something like that.
And now—
someone could treat it?
That was absurd.
"Are you serious?" Aizawa demanded, locking eyes with him.
All Might nodded, his expression steady but complicated.
"The person is actually quite well-known lately. His family is also involved in the Hero profession—I'm familiar with them. And I've personally seen his ability. It's definitely a medical-type Quirk."
"…His family are Heroes too?"
Aizawa's eyes sharpened.
If the person were an unknown, it would be hard to believe. But if they came from a Hero background, the chances of deception were extremely low.
"What's his age?" Aizawa asked immediately. "If possible, we need to bring him into U.A."
Such a person would be invaluable anywhere.
The Hero profession was filled with danger. Many Heroes suffered irreversible injuries—some even worse than All Might's. If someone like this existed, survival rates across the board could rise dramatically.
All Might thought for a moment.
"He should be around the age of a junior high graduate."
"Then we must secure him for U.A.," Aizawa said firmly.
"All of that's already taken care of," All Might replied with a small smile. "The kid told me himself—he's already passed U.A.'s recommendation exam. He's one of the four recommended students."
"…What?"
Aizawa blinked, stunned.
He knew the names and Quirks of all four recommended students.
None of them had a medical ability.
"…Are you joking?" he asked, uncertainty creeping into his voice.
All Might frowned slightly. "Of course not. He told me directly."
"Then what's his name? I'm telling you—there's no medical Quirk among the recommended students!"
All Might paused, thinking carefully.
"It was something like… Shi…"
He searched his memory.
"Shina… Shina Etsuha. That's it."
"…That's impossible!"
Aizawa's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
