Chapter 15 - Date

Casey bit her lip, then suddenly pulled a business card from her pocket and slipped it into Ethan's pocket.

"This is my personal phone number," she said. "You can call me whenever you're in a good mood."

"Why would I contact you if I'm in a good mood?" Ethan's lips curled into a playful smile.

Casey tiptoed and leaned close to his ear again, speaking in a seductive voice:

"You can call me if you're in a bad mood too… if you want to vent. I won't complain even if you hit me."

Ethan's heart stirred for a moment, but he quickly calmed himself and thought rationally. If he could get the Golden Pill, he could use it on himself. That way, when he slept with multiple women, he wouldn't have the problem of running out of stamina.

"I'll call you this afternoon if the opportunity arises."

"I'm off work this afternoon, I have time." Casey blushed, her eyes filled with anticipation.

"Then wait for my call." Ethan glanced down at the business card.

Casey, Senior Sales Consultant. Phone: 1xxxxxxxx.

He put the card away, picked up his shopping bags, and walked out.

Casey stood at the door, watching his figure disappear into the elevator before slowly looking away.

She lifted her head and touched her still slightly sore face, a perverted smile curving on her lips.

At that moment, several shop assistants gathered around, their expressions filled with envy, jealousy, and resentment.

"Casey, you're amazing!"

"The amount you earned today is what I make in a month!"

"Damn it, it should've been me who got slapped…"

Casey smiled smugly at them.

After that, she hummed a tune and walked back behind the counter. She picked up her phone, took a screenshot of Ethan's payment record, and opened her messenger to post a status.

Caption: I met a super handsome customer today. He's good-looking, rich, and has a great physique. I love him!

After posting, she called the store manager to ask for leave in the afternoon.

---

Inside the elevator.

Ethan looked at the business card in his hand. Recalling the scene in the fitting room earlier, he suddenly smiled.

Golden Pill.

Masochistic tendencies.

That's interesting.

He put the card away, picked up his shopping bags, and walked out of the elevator.

The sun was shining brightly outside, illuminating the dazzling glass curtain wall of Divine Mall.

He hailed a taxi, opened the door, and got in.

"Driver, take me to the Pearl High Restaurant."

"Okay." The driver glanced at him briefly and sped off.

Ethan sat in the back seat with his eyes closed, resting.

Just then, his phone rang with a notification.

It was a message from Rose.

[Boss, boss! That rich lady is pressuring me again! She says it's so effective—her husband did it seven times last night! Seven times!]

[Boss, you know she used to be so condescending toward me, never praising me. Now she's so affectionate, giving me so many compliments. I'm so happy!]

[Boss, when are we going to deliver the goods to her?]

Ethan smiled and typed: [The time is not confirmed. Let her wait.]

[Huh? Boss, if the time isn't confirmed, will she be patient enough to wait?]

[I'll make her wait patiently.]

Tell her the medicine is handmade, with complex processes and a long production cycle—not mass-produced. If she can't wait, she can find someone else.

[The boss is so smart! I'll tell her that!]

[I'm getting just as bossy as my boss! Hehe, love you, boss!]

Ethan smiled, turned off the screen, and continued resting.

A moment later, his phone rang again.

It was Emma.

Emma: [Mister, are you ready for our date?]

Ethan: [I'm about to reach.]

Emma: [It'll take me about half an hour more. How about you order first? I'll join you at the restaurant.]

Ethan glanced at the message but didn't reply.

Emma: [Mister?]

Emma: [Why are you ignoring me :-( ]

Ethan chuckled and typed: [As you say, I'll wait for you.]

Emma: [Thanks! What should I wear? Platform shoes, a short skirt, or a long one?]

Ethan: [You decide.]

Emma: [Okay! I promise I'll make sure you're satisfied!]

Ethan put his phone away and continued resting.

---

Ten minutes later.

The taxi stopped in front of the Pearl High Restaurant, and the doorman hurried over to open the door.

Ethan stepped out. When the doorman saw what he was wearing, he almost lost control of his expression, but his professionalism held.

"Sir, welcome."

Ethan nodded and walked inside, booking an executive suite.

He paused briefly in front of a mirror, admiring himself.

Once he took off his hospital gown and changed into this outfit, his entire aura had shifted. Although his face was still slightly pale, the well-tailored suit suppressed that sickly appearance.

Ethan straightened his collar.

The man in the mirror had calm eyes and a faint smile, exuding confidence.

Just then, his stomach growled.

He had been awake all morning after breakfast, and now hunger finally caught up with him.

Ethan picked up his phone and glanced at the time.

She should be here soon. I might as well order something.

He opened the door and headed to the dining area.

The restaurant was elegantly decorated. A hostess dressed elegantly stood at the entrance. Her eyes lit up when she saw him.

"Sir, how many people?"

"Two. One will arrive shortly."

"This way, please."

She led him to a window seat. Sunlight streamed in, creating a warm atmosphere with a view of the bustling city.

Ethan sat down and opened the menu.

It was thick and heavy, and the prices were surprisingly high.

A steak cost 288, vegetables 98, and even a bowl of rice was 180.

In the past, he would have left immediately.

But now, making money was easy—it didn't hurt to spend a little.

He ordered a medium-rare steak, salad, red wine, lobster, and a bottle of mineral water.

Leaning back, he gazed at the street outside.

It's been years since I've quietly enjoyed a moment like this.

"Mister…"

A soft female voice called out.

Ethan turned his head.

A beautiful woman in a white dress stood beside the table. Her long hair fell over her shoulders, and her makeup was exquisite. Her eyes curved into a gentle smile.

"Yo, you're here. Sit down," Ethan said.

"You look handsome in these clothes, mister," Emma said as she sat down.

"You look beautiful too," Ethan replied, handing her the water.

Emma rested her chin on her hands and tilted her head, studying him.

"Is there something wrong with my face?" Ethan asked.

Emma paused, then laughed softly. "No… I just can't stop looking at you."

She leaned forward slightly, her posture becoming more intimate.

"Mister… how about we go to my place after dinner?"
