Chapter 3 - Sacrifice

Atheris hovered in the ruined void, staring at what remained.

His planet was gone.

His home—erased.

His empire—scattered into nothingness.

Even his reputation, built across countless eras, was about to vanish.

For the first time, the Architect felt loss.

He spoke silently to his system.

Is there no other way?

[SYSTEM LOG: ANALYZING DATA…

PROBABILITY OF ESCAPE — 0 PERCENT.]

Atheris closed his eyes.

What are my chances of survival if I use that skill?

[SYSTEM LOG: SURVIVAL PROBABILITY — 0.5 PERCENT, MASTER.]

Slowly, Atheris opened his eyes and looked at Zytherion.

"I have nothing left to lose."

Zytherion smiled, genuine excitement flashing across his face.

"You know," he said, "you're really fun to fight. You even have my approval."

He chuckled softly.

"No wonder you surpassed even the Gods of Destruction."

Atheris narrowed his eyes.

"Who are you exactly?"

Zytherion shrugged.

"My identity is a secret. But you can call me the Executioner—that's what everyone calls me."

Atheris frowned slightly.

"Everyone…?"

Zytherion tilted his head.

"So—what will you do now?"

Suddenly, Zytherion's aura exploded outward.

The same overwhelming presence that had nearly erased Atheris before returned—stronger, denser, absolute.

[SYSTEM LOG: WARNING!

ZYTHERION IS ABOUT TO ACTIVATE A PREVIOUSLY DETECTED SKILL.]

Another alert followed immediately.

[SYSTEM LOG: FINAL BLUEPRINT PROTOCOL DETECTED.

PERMISSION REQUIRED.]

Atheris did not hesitate.

He shouted aloud, his voice echoing across the collapsing void:

"Activate Final Blueprint: Zero Revision!"

The universe trembled.

Final Blueprint: Zero Revision—

An Architect-class skill.

An ultimate emergency protocol, usable only when the Architect acknowledges absolute defeat.

Upon activation, the user dismantles their own existence, converting body, soul, skills, memories, and future potential into pure authority—rewriting reality one final time.

A skill capable of destroying even a universe.

Zytherion's eyes widened.

For the first time, anger replaced his excitement.

"Erase," he commanded.

[SYSTEM LOG: EXECUTING FINAL BLUEPRINT — ZERO REVISION.

ANALYZING DATA…

SOUL PROTECTION PROTOCOL ACTIVATED.

ARCHITECT SURVIVAL RATE INCREASED TO 5 PERCENT.]

As his body began to dissolve, Atheris had one final thought.

I wish… I had a child.

Zytherion suddenly coughed violently.

Blood spilled from his mouth as an unbearable pressure crushed down on him. His regeneration faltered.

Atheris's form faded further.

Space collapsed inward.

Color drained from existence.

Time froze—just for a moment.

Then—

A silent explosion consumed everything.

Planet 2MR

"Finally," a voice said calmly.

"The Architect is gone."

A figure stepped through a massive door.

Zytherion followed, coughing blood, half his body destroyed as regeneration struggled to keep up.

"You never told me," Zytherion growled, "that he could erase reality itself!"

The voice laughed softly.

"Oh? Architect powers alone can't do that. What he used was closer to self-destruction."

Then, casually—

"And why are you shouting? You can erase reality yourself."

Zytherion clenched his fist.

"He caught me by surprise. And even then… his authority was stronger."

The voice fell silent for a moment.

"Leave."
