Summer Thorne straightened up slightly and said, "No need. Someone's coming to get me."
Ivan Gray nodded. Glancing at the silent Timothy York out of the corner of his eye, he could only continue the conversation. "I heard the Sutton Group has a new manager and things are already looking up. Congratulations."
He was referring to Xavier Lockwood.
"It's just a band-aid, not a cure." Summer Thorne exhaled and smiled. "But I haven't given up, so… there's always tomorrow, right?"
"Things will get better," Ivan Gray said.
"I hope you're right."
The elevator soon arrived at the ground floor. Summer Thorne waited for them to exit first, but Ivan Gray stepped aside. "We're going to the garage."
"I'll get going then."
