Summer Thorne didn't sleep all night.
She desperately wanted to call Ivan Gray, but she was afraid it would interfere with what he was doing.
So she sent Ivan Gray a text message instead.
"What happened to Mr. York? Can you give me a call back when you have a moment?"
She waited until almost dawn, but the call never came.
After thinking it over and over, Summer Thorne called Silas Dunn.
At this hour, most people would be asleep, but when Silas Dunn answered, his voice was unnervingly clear.
In that moment, Summer's already anxious heart sank even further.
"Do you know what happened to him?" Summer asked, getting straight to the point.
Silas Dunn was silent for a moment before letting out a faint sigh. "If I told you it was just a small problem, nothing serious, would you believe me?" he said.
Summer shot back, "Can I believe you?"
