Once Timothy York was seated, the birthday banquet officially began.
Since the York family line wasn't particularly large, the only direct descendants of Mr. York present were Felix York and Timothy York. As such, there was no segment for them to go on stage and offer birthday wishes.
Although it was a joyous occasion, Mr. York had no desire to give a speech. In the end, it was Timothy York who took the stage to thank the guests on Mr. York's behalf and lead everyone in a toast to the guest of honor.
After the banquet started, a constant stream of people came forward to toast Mr. York individually. Timothy York remained by his grandfather's side almost the entire time, chatting and drinking with every guest.
At the second table, Mason Crawford hadn't glanced at the head table once since the banquet began. He just sat there, coldly downing one glass of wine after another.
