Wu Yun and Wen Meng stopped. He turned and saw Gao Qiang standing up from a square eight-person table, happily making his way out from an inside seat.
As he spotted Gao Qiang, Wu Yun also noticed four familiar faces—it was Zhang Qiuyue and her three roommates, the very same girls he'd run into at school that afternoon.
'What a coincidence!' He never would have guessed that the dorm mixer Zhang Qiuyue had mentioned was with Gao Qiang's dorm.
As Wu Yun sized up the group, the others at the table were also checking out him and Wen Meng.
One of the handsome guys at the table saw Wen Meng and his eyes immediately lit up, but his expression quickly shifted to one of regret.
Zhang Qiuyue and her three friends started whispering among themselves.
Wu Yun introduced her to Gao Qiang. "This is Wen Meng. You've seen her picture."
Then, Wu Yun turned to Wen Meng. "This is my childhood friend. We were in the same class from elementary school all the way through high school."
