"Don't worry. We don't have medicine now, but we will soon. When the time comes, both your brother and the others in the clan will be saved," Loki said softly, holding Miche's hand and pulling her to sit on the stone bench beside him.
Seeing Loki's secretive demeanor, Miche felt much more at ease. Curious, she asked, "Loki, what do you mean by that?"
"The Golden Dragon Clan has agreed to provide us with herbal medicine."
Miche's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? Is Ophelia that kind-hearted?"
"Hmph, of course she isn't. She is giving us the medicine on one condition," Loki scoffed coldly.
"What condition?" Miche felt a bit nervous, worried that Ophelia might make some unreasonable demand. She had finally managed to drive that woman out; she didn't want Ophelia finding an excuse to come back.
"She wants ten young females from the Snow Wolf Clan, or half of our tribe's territory." Loki never hid anything from Miche.
