After finishing the documents, she looked up and countered calmly.
If she hadn't been reborn, and if she hadn't just gone through the ordeal of her sister, Skylar, being illegally detained by the Easton Family, she would have been shocked to hear him overturn a closed case and reclassify it as murder. But as it was, she believed him. It had to be murder. The only problem was that it happened so long ago, and she had no information of her own to support this conclusion.
Sean Quinn, meanwhile, was watching her. He knew what she was like. She had adored her father and brother; bringing up this old tragedy should have horrified her. While she might have learned something from Skylar, Skylar was still traumatized and hadn't yet recovered. It was impossible for her to have explained things clearly to her two younger sisters. Besides, what Skylar knew was merely the tip of the iceberg.
