Sean Quinn arrived at the hospital room and glanced at the old man sleeping in the bed. He then called Todd Sawyer to ask about the grandfather's condition. The two spoke for a good while, discussing his prognosis.
Meanwhile, Stella Lockwood placed the breakfast she had just bought on the small table. Just as she was about to eat, a groan came from the bed. She rushed over, overjoyed to see her grandfather awake. "Grandpa, you're awake? How are you feeling? Does anything hurt?"
At the sound, Sean Quinn turned, hung up the phone, and joined them by the bed. His expression was full of concern as he asked, "Sir, you're finally awake. Hold on, I'll get the doctor on duty to come take a look at you..."
It was before regular office hours, so only the on-duty doctor was available.
