When she entered the banquet room, she found it was already packed with people, filling a whole table. She was taken aback. 'Isn't it still half an hour before the scheduled time? Why are so many big shots already here?'
That's right. The people who had come today were all influential figures in the industry. Every single one was someone she couldn't hope to get close to under normal circumstances. In three years, she would be collaborating with them, standing on equal footing, but right now, she was just a rookie, not worth much of their attention.
And sure enough, when she and Serena Lockwood walked in, those people only glanced over, showed little reaction, and went back to their own conversations.
