A small smile played on Reaper Yates's lips. He clinked his glass against hers, studying her with immense curiosity.
The meal was a very pleasant one. Reaper Yates was a master conversationalist. He could keep the topics lively and tell interesting stories, making her laugh again and again until tears streamed from her eyes.
"I absolutely loved your character in Youth Over Fire. A young, fresh-faced girl, but not demure at all—mischievous as a little monkey, just like my sister. The kind of kid who's wild enough to turn the world upside down... You absolutely nailed that little rascal look... My sister and I became your fans right then and there... Oh, right, you have to give me an autograph..."
He pulled out a few photos. "I promised my sister I'd get your signed picture. Here, sign a few for me. That's okay, right?"
