When he ran out of the room, he saw Zeno Lockwood helping Skylar and Serena Lockwood back to their rooms. Seeing him, Zeno shook his head. "Hanson, it's one thing for you and Lynn to sneak drinks, but how could you let the three sisters drink with you? Look at them, they're dead drunk. You can't be this reckless with alcohol again, you hear?"
Hanson's face was flushed as he humbly accepted the scolding. "Yes, sir. I understand. I'll make sure the girls never drink like this again."
But Zeno Lockwood stared at him intently. "Why is your face so red? And why do you look so flustered? You're not normally like this. Spit it out. What mischief have you been up to?"
Hanson shook his head again and again. "Nothing, nothing. You're right to scold me, Mr. Lockwood. I... I'll go get Lynn back to his room..."
He fled, hastily dragging Flynn Lynch back to the room.
