Stella Lockwood quickly chimed in, "Strange in what way?"
Mack: "She had a very serious boyfriend, and they were about to get married, but Iris Churchill refused to go through with it. It wasn't because she was having an affair, though, and she didn't get a new boyfriend. She's been single ever since, and there's no sign of any man living with her. So, for Miss Lockwood to say she has a secret lover... that doesn't quite add up."
"It's not that hard to figure out," Stella Lockwood replied. "If her secret lover is a man of high status, especially a politician, then it makes perfect sense."
Sean Quinn narrowed his shrewd, dark eyes. 'That's a very real possibility. Could it be that Mr. Lockwood left that clue because he wanted them to investigate the man behind this woman?'
Skylar Lockwood, on the other hand, gave her younger sister another deep look. 'This kid... she used to be so love-struck, and now she has the brain of a detective. How does she even come up with these ideas?'
