Stella saw him and immediately turned her attention to him. "Sean, what's wrong?"
"My wound... it hurts a little... I think it might have reopened..." he said in a low voice, deliberately taking a shallow breath as his brows furrowed slightly.
"I told you not to fight, but you just wouldn't listen... Where's your car? We have to go back to the hospital. You shouldn't have even left today... You were stabbed! Instead of resting up properly, you're running all over the place... Do you have any regard for your own body at all?" she chided him gently.
The corners of Sean Quinn's lips curled up secretly. 'This girl is so easy to fool.'
"Where's your car?"
"Over there." He pointed. "The fifth car..."
"I'll help you get there."
"Okay."
He brazenly draped himself over the young woman as they headed back to his car, and the sour feeling in his heart finally began to fade.
