Stella Lockwood was woken by the faint sound of voices. She sat up on the sofa and found two thin blankets draped over her. The sound was coming from the kitchen.
She peeked over and saw Sean Quinn and Reaper Yates in the kitchen, standing shoulder to shoulder as they made breakfast.
Sean Quinn was in a white shirt and Reaper Yates was in a black one. They were about the same height.
"Is the scallop congee almost ready?"
"Mhm, almost."
"The stir-fried vegetables look great. I'm going to have a taste."
"Don't sneak a bite, it's hot... The shumai will be ready soon. Why don't you go pour some vinegar instead of blocking the way?"
"Alrighty."
