Stella Lockwood leaned against the door, her mind buzzing. Her lips throbbed with a pain that left her utterly dejected.
'So, is Sean Quinn gay or not?'
She was completely baffled.
'Did I get it completely wrong?'
But if he's not gay, why is he so close with other men?
She wanted to storm over there and demand an explanation, but she didn't dare. Her heart was pounding in a panic.
After a while of letting her thoughts run wild, the phone tucked into the pocket of her denim skirt rang, snapping her out of it. She glanced down and saw it was a call from Director Wynn.
She quickly answered.
"Stella, our show is airing tonight. You posted an announcement on your Weibo, but there's been no activity at all on Sean Quinn's. You two are close, so why don't you give him a call and have him spread the word?"
"Director Wynn, why don't you just text him yourself?"
'We're not close at all, okay? We just signed a marriage certificate, that's it.'
"I did. No response."
