The four of them were talking when someone knocked on the door, followed by Mia's voice. "Who are you looking for?" She had just gotten back from an errand and saw several people ringing the doorbell.
"We're from the Nancaster Criminal Investigation Division. We need Stella Lockwood to assist with an investigation. Is she home?"
"She is… Come on in…"
A moment later, Stella Lockwood watched as three detectives entered the house. They approached politely, explained their reason for being there, and promptly took her away.
Sean Quinn didn't reveal himself. Instead, he hid behind the third-floor curtains, watching them get into a police car and drive away. A few neighbors had gathered by the door, asking what was going on.
Once the car was out of sight, Sean Quinn's phone rang. It was Reaper Yates. He answered immediately.
