Sean Quinn walked over and sat beside her. Seeing her languid expression, he smiled indulgently. "Mm, go ahead and sleep. I'll wake you in a bit..."
A short while later, Stella Lockwood had drifted off.
Sean Quinn lowered his head and kissed the top of her fragrant hair. He sighed. 'You really trust me too much...' But being trusted by her made him very happy.
After taking a shower, Sean Quinn went out onto the terrace and replied to a text message. It was from Morton Grant.
Morton Grant: [Sir, the DNA test results for Byron Fisher's daughter and Iris Churchill are back. They confirm a mother-daughter relationship.]
This result didn't surprise Sean Quinn at all. He replied: [Understood.]
'If my guess is right, Iris Churchill must have been Peter Chapman's mistress. Chapman was likely blackmailing her with something, forcing her to be with him. That's why she would disappear every weekend. And she did it all to protect Byron Fisher and their daughter.'
