By the time she woke up, it was already broad daylight. Stella Lockwood glanced at the time—past eight. She hurriedly changed and ran downstairs. Seeing Pearl Jewel chatting with Missie Frances, she couldn't help but exclaim, "Why didn't you wake me? Hurry, we have to get to the studio! The opening ceremony for *Those Years I Loved You* is today... We're going to be late!"
"Ma'am, have some breakfast."
"I'll just grab something dry to eat in the car..."
Stella Lockwood went to the kitchen, grabbed some bread and milk, and ran out.
The company van was already waiting. The two of them hopped in, and the vehicle sped away from the villa. After a frantic rush, they managed to arrive just in time.
After the opening ceremony, Stella Lockwood went to get her makeup done. She distractedly pulled out her phone. An entire night, and still no word from Sean Quinn. 'Heh, some nerve...'
