Sean Quinn looked around and pointed to the riverbank. "Let's go sit over there…"
He then led the way over.
Stella Lockwood had no choice but to follow. She watched Sean Quinn pull out his phone, tap away at it for a moment, then place it down beside them. Blue light pulsed from the screen, and she had no idea what it was.
"I've set up an anti-eavesdropping system. What we're about to say can't be overheard… Sit down…" He patted the spot beside him.
Stella Lockwood suppressed her curiosity and sat down.
"Yvonne Crawford was injured years ago because of me. I felt so guilty that I bought a small duplex in South Bay Villa and registered it in the Crawford sisters' names. The unit on the right is the one I bought for Yvonne; the one on the left is mine. My original intention was to be nearby to look after her, but I ended up renting my place out.
