Kai Young stared at her. Suddenly, he pulled at his face, yanking off a realistic-looking mask. Underneath, it was actually Sean Quinn.
"You… What are you doing here?"
Stella Lockwood gasped.
"At Director Wynn's request, I'm playing the stunt double for a bit," Sean Quinn replied lazily. He even curled his lips into a smile, but it held a hint of wicked charm.
'This man really is different from Sloan.'
Director Wynn chuckled and explained, "My apologies, my apologies. I didn't tell you beforehand. Here's what happened: I heard what Ronda said last night and thought that cutting all the kissing scenes would lose us the loyal fans of the original book. I was planning on finding a stunt double for you. As it happened, President Quinn came over this morning, so I went to ask for his opinion. But he said he was willing to be the male lead's double… to give you a surprise…"
'Heh. Some surprise. This is clearly a scare.'
