Monica Sullivan held up her phone, carefully aiming it at the crack in the door and recording the entire conversation inside.
Then she found a deserted spot, edited the video, and sent it to Old Mrs. Sherwood.
"Grandma, Iris Dalton offended Jude Shaw on her very first day and beat Milo Monahan so badly he was hospitalized. She's provoked two of Valerium's most powerful families at once. I'm worried about how this will affect the Sherwood Family."
After sending the message, Monica Sullivan put her phone away, lost in her own thoughts.
'She'd thought that after Iris Dalton injured Milo Monahan, the Monahan Family would never let it go. They might even have her expelled directly.'
'But unexpectedly, the Monahan Family wasn't pressing the issue.'
Monica Sullivan couldn't figure it out.
'How could Iris Dalton cause such a huge incident and get away with it completely unscathed? Was it just good luck, or was there another reason?'
