It wasn't until after dinner that Iris Dalton finally remembered she still had homework to do. She had been so incredibly busy this weekend that Monday's monthly exams had completely slipped her mind. Hurrying to gather her things, she grabbed her backpack and headed up to the second-floor study to get to work.
Just then, Eric Jenson called, asking for a video chat.
"Have you finished your math worksheet? I can check it for you," Eric offered. He was at the hospital taking care of his grandmother. Since he hadn't been able to tutor Iris for the past two days, he was worried she might be struggling with the math problems. With the monthly exams starting tomorrow, he couldn't let her scrape by with a mere sixty percent like the last test.
"I haven't started yet. I'll do it right now." Iris quickly pulled out the worksheet, sat down, and began writing. SCRIBBLE, SCRIBBLE.
