When Wu Ting refused yet again, Li Tian, on the other end of the line, was clearly displeased, and his tone turned sour.
"Director Wu, how about this? I'll add another one hundred thousand! Three hundred thousand total. Come over right now. If you don't believe me, you can give me your account number, and I'll arrange the transfer immediately."
Li Tian was flaunting his wealth. He couldn't believe that three hundred thousand wouldn't be enough to sway this Director Wu.
Don't doctors just do it for the money? Between a consultation and a three-hundred-thousand appearance fee, Li Tian believed any normal doctor would know which to choose.
Listening to Li Tian's nouveau riche attitude, Wu Ting couldn't help but let out an exasperated laugh.
'Does this guy really think I'm just playing hard to get, trying to drive up the price?'
If it weren't for Director Ma's reputation, Wu Ting wouldn't have even taken the call.
