When the scores were announced, everyone was stunned.
Director Li Chunpei left everyone else in the dust. Most contestants were hovering around the 90-point mark, but he was in a league of his own with a score of 95!
In the main hall, Dean Yu of Anzhen beamed with pride as he looked at his protégé's score.
The other members of the panel offered their congratulations as well.
A score of 95 had undoubtedly secured him a spot in the top twelve.
In the main hall's audience, a buzz of discussion arose.
"As expected from the powerhouse North China Region. Director Li Chunpei from Anzhen is crushing the competition. A score of 95 is insane."
"Sigh, it looks like our Jin Province hospitals are still a long way behind. Director Dong from Haijin Port First Hospital only scored 85."
"Looks like Jin Province is going to get wiped out again this time. The gap between them and the top-tier cardiac surgeons is just too wide."
