"What's going on?"
"I don't know. Hurry, let's go see."
When the crowd saw several of the bigwigs leaving, they hurried to follow.
"Please, I'm begging you, let me go! I know I was wrong," Blair said in a panic, kneeling before Seraphina Ashworth. 'I was wrong. I never should have lost my mind and listened to Chloe. That woman is a demon, she's terrifying.'
Seraphina Ashworth, clad in a silver-purple gown, stood there as her long dark hair fluttered in the wind. She possessed a natural air of nobility that made it difficult for anyone to meet her gaze.
"Regret it now? It's too late!" Seraphina Ashworth's cold gaze swept over Blair as she spoke, her voice like ice.
"Gwen!" Caden Reginald's voice traveled from a distance, and a moment later, Seraphina Ashworth found herself in a warm embrace.
