"Julian, I want the Jade Pearl you have." Seraphina Ashworth got straight to the point, not beating around the bush in the slightest.
Hearing this, a deep, puzzled look surfaced in Julian's crimson eyes. "The Jade Pearl? What's that?"
Julian couldn't really be blamed for playing dumb; he genuinely didn't know that the pearl he had recently acquired was the Jade Pearl Seraphina Ashworth was talking about.
Seraphina Ashworth knew Julian wasn't feigning ignorance. After all, very few people knew about the Five Spirit Beads. "Didn't you recently get a pearl that's translucent and lustrous, like a Luminous Pearl? That's the Jade Pearl."
