Su Chen and Chen Fei had no intention of making a spectacle of themselves. They found a quiet corner and, in two trips, brought all their food over.
"Mmm, this is definitely way better than Wallace's. No wonder they can charge so much!" Su Chen said, swallowing a McNugget.
"Mmm, it's so good. I guess you could say it's a childhood dream come true."
Chen Fei held a grilled chicken sandwich, feeling a wave of emotion. His family had been poor. Forget about eating a chicken sandwich—he'd never even seen a McDonald's back in his rural hometown.
He had gone straight into the army after high school. After his discharge, he was constantly running missions abroad. He never had the chance to just wander around and enjoy some good food. It was a life he could never have imagined before.
It was only after he started following Su Chen that he got this kind of opportunity.
