Count Brand struggled to unroll the curled map with his bird-like talons. But the map seemed to have a stubborn temper of its own; as soon as he pinned down one side with a talon, the other side would spring back and curl up with a *SWISH*.
He was so angry his feathers stood on end. If His Majesty hadn't been watching, he would have picked a fight with the map right then and there.
"Hey, you disobedient thing! Behave for this Count."
After a prolonged struggle, he finally managed to tame the feral map.
Count Brand cleared his throat, trying his best to restore his noble Count's demeanor, and gestured at the map with the tip of his wing.
"Your Majesty, please look. According to this map, the Obsidian mining area is also located in the outer region of the Underground City, just to the southwest of the Fog Zone."
The tip of his wing tapped on a sloppy mark in the map's southwest corner.
"There are three main passages to get there."
