The blow was a heavy one. Damian Fairchild stood there for a good while before he recovered.
Seraphina Quinn, of course, knew how hard she had hit him.
She was so guilt-ridden she felt scared. "I... I thought you were an intruder..."
Leaning against the door behind him, Damian Fairchild's expression was grim. "Seraphina Quinn, use your head. Would an intruder have a key to your apartment?"
Seraphina Quinn muttered under her breath, "It's not like you're a good person, either."
Damian Fairchild walked straight to her sofa. "What was that you were muttering?"
Seraphina Quinn was already intimidated by him, and now that she'd hit him, she was utterly terrified.
"I said I'll go get you the first-aid kit."
Soon, Seraphina Quinn returned with the first-aid kit and took out some ointment for bruises.
