Wyatt Quinn narrowed his eyes, his voice laced with sarcasm. "She runs off to The Shogun's Manor late at night to 'discuss the divorce' with you. What else could there be to talk about?"
Damian Fairchild chuckled softly. "Oh, there's plenty to talk about. Besides whispering sweet nothings, we could also discuss Master Quinn's romantic scandals."
Wyatt Quinn frowned. "Damian Fairchild, I don't care why you forced Seraphina to see you tonight. But you will stay the hell away from her."
He paused, then added with emphasis, "When it comes to the divorce, there's no room for negotiation. And on top of that, the breakup fee can't be a penny short."
Damian Fairchild was so furious he laughed.
After a couple of low, choked laughs, he gritted out,
"A divorce? Fine. Have her come talk to me in person. As long as she's the one to ask for it, I'll pay whatever breakup fee she's owed. Not a cent less."
With that, Damian Fairchild hung up.
