This is my first attempt at writing in this genre. Though I've always been an enthusiast of the Middle Ages, this is truly my first time writing a story set in that period.
Like many others, I went from reading novels to writing them, and from a novice to a veteran flop.
Novels have given my life a lot of meaning. There was a time when I even felt that writing novels was all I had left in life.
Every time I sit down to write, the process is often arduous, especially when I have writer's block. Most of my day is spent reading related books and watching films and TV shows for research, and my brief moments of leisure feel rushed.
Even though the process is arduous, I still love it. It makes me feel like my existence has some small measure of meaning.
