When Amelia Lockhart handed over the grilled fish, she took a moment to glance at the wild fruits she had brought earlier.
Only two of the seven or eight fruits were left. Amelia finally relaxed a little, thinking she could go pick some more later.
"You don't want this?" Seeing that he still hadn't taken it, Amelia prepared to set it aside.
Suddenly, her hand felt lighter. The two skewers of grilled fish had been snatched away.
Ethan Quinn looked at the grilled fish in his hand, the aroma of cumin sharp and clear.
"Go on, try it. Iris made this fish, so it's bound to be good. It just depends on whether you like it." Afraid he wouldn't eat, Amelia specifically emphasized that it wasn't one of her culinary disasters.
But Ethan suddenly didn't feel like eating it anymore.
"Where's the breadfruit you toasted?" Ethan asked.
"You want that? I'll go check." With that, Amelia left.
