Amelia Finch looked at Ethan Quinn as if she'd just heard the most ridiculous joke, her eyes cold and clear. "If even I can't go, then who else is qualified to go to Mount Cinderwood?"
"I can."
"If you can go, why can't I? Or has something happened on Mount Cinderwood? Divine Lord, I'm worried about my sister. I have to leave today, no matter what." The unease in Amelia Finch's heart grew.
'She didn't understand why Ethan Quinn kept stopping her from going to Mount Cinderwood.'
'Did something happen on Mount Cinderwood? Did my sister get into an accident? She didn't dare to think about it. She had to go see for herself.'
Amelia Finch struggled to free her wrist from Ethan Quinn's grip, but her vision suddenly went black.
Ethan Quinn reached out and caught the once again unconscious Amelia Finch. Seeing her eyes closed peacefully, he let out a soft sigh and carried her to the bed.
