Silas stirred the contents of the medicinal bowl with a spoon for a moment before scooping some up and bringing it to Willow Finch's lips. "Drink your medicine first. The herbs here are not easy to come by."
Willow Finch pressed her lips together, watching him.
Silas could only offer a gentle smile. "Rest assured, they're still alive. Their condition just isn't great. Drink the medicine first, and I'll take you to see them once you've recovered some strength."
"You're not lying?"
"I, Silas Linden, may have concealed things from you regarding Ethan Quinn, but I have never lied to you."
Once Willow Finch finally finished the medicine, she was desperate to get up. But her battle with Xylos had left her grievously injured, and she found she couldn't move at all. All she could do was stare at Silas Linden with wide eyes.
Her eyes, though full of life, held a faint hint of anger.
