'She remembered Silas saying that medicinal ingredients were extremely hard to come by here, so the medical arts here were likely not very advanced. Perhaps she could be of help.'
Layla nodded. She set the pestering Ross aside. Ross spun in a circle on the ground, then suddenly zipped away.
Willow thought Ross was angry and was about to say something, but Layla stopped her.
"It's alright. Ross has a lively personality, but he's also very smart. He probably just thought of something to do."
Thinking of Ross's earlier actions, Willow couldn't help but nod.
'Ross really is smart.'
Since Willow hadn't fully recovered, Layla got up and sat in the chair across from her.
As Layla drew closer, Willow noticed her face was etched with weariness. She looked utterly exhausted.
Willow observed her for a long moment before placing a hand on her wrist.
