Georgia's face flushed red, and she buried herself under the covers.
Her muffled voice came from beneath the blankets. "Isn't a man's 'wife' just his right hand anyway?"
"So you have the heart to watch me take care of it myself?"
Elliot's face darkened. 'A man's wife is his right hand? Who taught her that!'
Georgia hid under the covers like a turtle in its shell.
Georgia was sweating under the quilt. She only dared to peek out when she heard the sound of running water from the bathroom.
She took a deep breath of fresh air.
When Elliot came out of the bathroom, his icy gaze swept over to Georgia, who guiltily shrank back.
She really had been about to give in to him, but who knew a part-time cleaner would suddenly burst in?
She kept her head down and stuck her tongue out playfully, not daring to look up at Elliot.
Georgia was too embarrassed to go out and face the cleaner, but even if she didn't see her today, they would surely run into each other eventually.
