The wedding had become a joke, and she was too embarrassed to ask Georgia Thorne about it.
'But their wedding was never completed. She shouldn't be wearing this ring.'
Georgia Thorne called her name several times before she snapped out of it and asked dazedly, "What's wrong?"
"I called you several times. What are you thinking about?"
Georgia Thorne smiled and followed her gaze down to the ring on her own hand.
'Crap!'
'I was so lost in thought I forgot to hide the ring.'
It was too late to try and cover it with her scarf now.
Selena Sheridan saw it clearly. "Georgia, did Zane Lennox give you that ring?"
Georgia Thorne was drinking water and nearly spat it all out.
She looked at her, astonished. 'Why would she think Zane Lennox gave me this ring?'
Georgia Thorne's strange reaction only made Selena Sheridan more certain that the ring was from Zane Lennox.
