When Selena Sheridan asked him for a gift, Elliot Sheridan whispered in her ear, "Didn't Georgia Thorne already buy you a gift?"
She was stunned. 'When did Georgia buy me a gift?'
Elliot then brought up the previous clothes shopping trip, reminding her that Georgia had used his card.
She instantly deflated. 'Uncle is so stingy.'
"Of course he's going to play favorites! Our Georgia is his legal wife. She's going to be with Elliot for the rest of his life; you're just his niece!"
"Marriage is so wonderful!" Selena Sheridan said wistfully, resting her chin in her hand as she gazed at Georgia Thorne's flushed cheeks.
Seeing Georgia so happy, she suddenly wanted to get married as well.
Georgia was now a typical wife, kept on a tight leash by Elliot, who wouldn't let her stay out too late.
When Nancy Hughes suggested going for drinks, Georgia refused.
"Sigh, I guess there's one downside to marriage: no freedom!"
