All she could think about was the phone call from last night.

'She just lost the baby. She needs to regain her strength. How can eating this little be enough?'
Byron Shaw couldn't bring himself to say it and let out a deep sigh.
Georgia Thorne said she wouldn't eat, and she meant it. She lay in bed, completely still.
That evening, Nathan Rhodes went home, leaving Byron Shaw at the hospital to stay with her.
"Attorney Shaw, you should go home. I'll be fine on my own," Georgia Thorne said, sitting up in bed.
"It's fine. I'm staying with you tonight." Byron Shaw paused what he was doing and turned to her.
