Listening to Teacher Liang, Li Qian unconsciously found his gaze drawn to the opening in the ruins.
"Should we go in and take a look?" Li Qian asked after a moment's thought, pointing at the gap.
All the canine Pet Beasts had fled. Li Qian figured it wasn't that dangerous inside anymore.
"That makes sense. Better to go inside and take a look than to just wait around," Teacher Liang mused, then nodded.
Most importantly, the stillness of the cavern leading to the Earth Palace told her that the temporary Dimensional Rift that had opened underground had likely already closed.
It was highly probable that there was no danger underground now.
"I'll go down first and take a look." To be safe, however, she added cautiously.
The moment she finished speaking, she wasted no time. With a flash, her figure vanished into the opening in the ruins.
Li Qian watched her go. He wanted to follow, but he held himself back, waiting for confirmation that it was safe.
